I have had the same problem. I wasn't clicking outlook express in the tool bar to bring up the dialog box to type in
my password. Also if you close OE while connected. You have to type in your password again to get OE to connect.

As far as IE I don't know unless you aren't typing in your password for it.

Juanita

after I connect my isp on my desktop I usually go to outlook express and check my email somtimes more often than not
it will try to connect and then a message comes saying my server disconnected me. I can't get on IE at this time
either but I am stll connected on my desktop to my isp. I usually have to restart my computer and then it will work.
Sometimes it doesn't though. Can someone help me with this? I called my dsl provider they said I needed a new
ethernet card. Got that and it still is doing it. Called again and said I needed a new modem. God that and it is
still doing it.I would appreciate any advice.

Thank You
Deborah
