Sara, they should be in your sent folder or the equivalent unless you
have opted not to save e-mail you send. If you really want to save
something, sent or received, consider putting it into a regular
wordprocessor file.

That brings up storing and retrieving. I have an enormous number of
articles and other goodies, and have been overwhelmed at times both in
terms of storage and retrieval (remembering what I put where, and
sometimes remembering a key word or phrase to retrieve.) Then I found
Copernic Desktop Search, a free download from www.copernic.com.
Unlike the Google Desktop engine, Copernic indexes both Wordperfect
and Word files, both the filenames and content. It is the equivalent
of having google on your own computer for retrieval. It indexes on
the fly as you work.

I also use Gmail, the Beta version of Google's e-mail with the google
search engine available to look through saved messages. With 2GB of
storage, it saves me from the extra task of pulling articles and other
items from e-mail and storing them in files. Some I do, but most I
leave on the Net in e-mail form.

More than you asked but maybe the information will prove useful. Hope
that it helps someone out there.
