I believe that the program X-Setup
(http://www.xteq.com/products/xset/index.html) will allow you to do this and
avoid hacking the registry yourself.

I am selling a PC and all of it's original, licensed software.  How can I
remove my name from various parts of the computer and installed software.
For example, when you start Microsoft Word, the splash screen says "This
produce is licensed to "me".  I would like that and other information to
reflect the name of the person who is buying the PC.
