Hello

I've come across a problem that I was not expecting after reading the
various XP/Win9x net working problems/solutions the last few months.

When I run the WinXP 'home network' (internet sharing etc) disc on the
Win98SE box it does the normal reboot then tells me it can't find the
networking hardware.

I know that all the hardware is functioning as I have tested it to the max.
I can also get the Win8SE box talking to the to the XP box using IP's. I
even put XP on the Win98SE box for a short period ... the home network
wizard worked fine then!

I have formatted the Win98SE box hoping that there was some gremlin in the
registery etc ... the same problem occurs. I am baffled and any advice will
be appreciated.

TIA ... Mick
