Hello Lorraine,

Hit the keys Ctrl + Alt + Del at the same time and this will bring up Task
Manager.  You should now see a listing of the programs/processes which are
taking place.  Select one, and choose End Task.  Make sure to leave Systray
and Explorer going.  Odds are, you either have a virus detection program
running that checks occasionally for changes, or Office Pro which has a
couple of background tasks that go.  FindFast being the main culprit.
