Hi Kevin,

If this is a new ISP for you, try this:
Go to My Computer on your desktop, double click it.
Choose Dial Up Networking, Double Click it
Highlight your connection Name (i.e. Sympatico)
Right Click, Choose "properties"
On the Tabs at the top, click "Server Types"
Make sure that the only one checked at the bottom is "TCP/IP"
Uncheck any others if necessary.
Next click the "TCP/IP settings" button
Make sure that "use default gateway on remote network" is checked
Hit okay, then okay again, and see if that helped.
For some reason, Win98 leaves that unchecked when you make a
new connection.
Hope this helps.
