win 2000 resources as such can be accessed via right click on task bar and
then click on task manager..

Where do you find the resource screen? Overall, I agree with all your
comments. My Matrox G100 card runs better than it ever ran under 98
(smoother scrolls), My microtek scanner works, it seems to have installed
the NT drivers, my USB zip also seems to work fine. I am using the Internet
Connection Sharing, similar to the Win98SE, and that also seems to be
working seamlessly. My Win98SE was crashing several times daily after 2
clean reinstalls last month. I installed Win2000 to a new directory last
week, and the system has been running fine since, but I am curious about my
resources.
