FYI...Compaq's don't have the cmos-bios-setup on the hard drive. The
"Compaq Partition" contains the Compaq Diagnostics program (actually
quite handy) which can be downloaded from the Compaq site and run from a
floppy. I'll admit from a hardware standpoint they are quite
disingenuous, but they can easily be turned into a relatively
well-behaving computer on the OS/Software side.
