When I had a  Linux Slackware 3.1 install by default  I had a color command
line....directories were one color...files another ...system another. This
was very similar to the program for Dos and Win 95 ....Super DIR  ...a Dos
window enhancement. I assume that all Linux versions have this capability.
Does anyone know how to enable it in Linux Red Hat 5.1
