I have just had to reformat and add a new hard drive to my
computer...getting very close to the time to build a fresh box.
In this painstakingly frustrating process, I have finally got my device back
to normal.

However, I find now that viewing jpegs from my digital camera or from the
web is of a VERY poor quality. (They used to be photo picture quality).
Is the ability of a monitor to display pictures in any format a "driver
missing" problem, software for the monitor, or a hardware issue. This is
oprobably an openended question, but I'd like a place to start debugging
this.

Thanks in advance to all of your technical know-how.
