Hello John,

Thanks for the the new buzz word for my PCictionary. "Symantecly Screwed!"
Now this is a new one for me, very appropriate and will definitely be an
entry to my list.

The problem... I have reinstalled the O/$ 2 times. Somehow, it seems to me
like symantec is not letting the O/$ build a new Registry since right after
a successful installation, the reboot will again be intercepted by the 3
error messages from Symantec and shutsdown the system! This happens right
after the POST and prior to the Windows screen. Simply put, the
f*&)*(_._)^%^&%$g Symantec/Norton won't let Windows boot up because it can't
find the "live update database file, NAV auto-protect is unable to start,
and the Symenvt.386 is missing, system is halted, Need to reload Norton
Anti-virus." Blah-blah-blah!!!

And John, I don't give up easily but having read a lot of horror stories
about Symantec/Norton from all over Chatrooms, Newsgroups, etc, and now
experiencing it myself,, I want you to know that the lesson learned here is
taken seriously by yours truly.... Thank you very much and Merry Christmas
to you and the Family!

Emie DelRosario
