I hate to say But I will bet you have a worm, my Personal Experience has
shown Norton/Symantec to be a waste of money. I used to have the same
problems you do till my computer crashed, it required a clean install every
6 months, until I replaced Norton Internet Security, I discovered that I had
a Music CD that I downloaded using Kaza, and there were 2 songs that would
not play on my car CD player, they were found to have been infected, But no
Anti Virus software could detect the bug, I believe the record companies
spent a lot on viruses then... Now they spend the cash on legislators. I
recommend you try Malwarebytes. When you download it change the filename to
something not Anti Virus related. Save it to your desktop, restart in
safemode with networking, Install Malwarebytes, and run a couple of updates,
then run a full scan in safe mode. I got these instructions from a Zonealarm
chat room, it has worked for me. (There were a couple of other programs he
suggested also, however, I cannot remember them now, I do not download music
anymore, except from safe places so not as many problems.

Subject: EMail Abuse

Three e-mails were sent to friends and relatives looking exactly like they
came from me. Each contained either links to viruses or malware. These
emails do not appear in my Sent Items folder; one was time stamped when my
computer was shut down. I do not think they came from my computer but
others disagree with me. Comcast only told me to change the password on my
email account with them. Norton Security Suite says me computer is not
infected.
