addresses>>

First of all, when posing any question, always state which Operating System
you are using and, in this case, your browser. The more info you can supply
the better informed the replies will be. Too much info is always better
than too little, a common problem in many postings. It's an excellent idea
to state your experience level, as you have, because then we can write any
answers at an appropriate level.

Now to your question:

I assume you wish to delete these from your bookmarks (sometimes called
"favourites").

Find your Favourites folder, open it, then select and delete each one you
don't want from there. If there are a lot, it's easier to hold down the
Control key, and select each item you want to delete. When you release the
key, only those items you've selected will remain selected and you can
delete the lot in one hit. The ones you haven't selected will remain.

The location of the Favourites folder depends on which OS you are running.
In W98 it's inside the Windows folder. In XP, it's easier to run "Search
files and folders" and let XP find it---there may be more than one. The one
you want will most likely be in Documents and Settings under your username.

To manage your bookmarks, you might find it useful to place a shortcut to
the Favourites folder on your desktop, from which you can sort the icons in
any order you wish, as for any normal folder.

To do this, when you find your Favourites folder, hit the backspace key to
back one level, and you will see the Favourites folder. Right drag the
folder onto your desktop (or wherever you want to place the shortcut), then
release the mouse button and select :"create shortcut here".
