Depends on your system. In XP, there are often multiple copies of most
system items, one for each user or potential user (even if you are the sole
user). It's one of the annoyances you have to learn to live with if you do
not have multiple users. Perhaps XP Home is a little simpler in that
respect than Pro. I don't know, I've never really used XP Home.

If you want to locate the correct folder to backup, open each one till you
find the one with the correct contents. Often just hovering the mouse over
the folder will indicate that it's an empty folder. A little tip: Once you
locate the correct folder, you might like to put a shortcut somewhere
handy, to save you hunting for it again in the future (like---when you next
want to back it up). Perhaps a folder of "Backup shortcuts" on your
desktop, containing shortcuts to everything you want to backup regularly.

Alternatively, in XP, drill down through Documents and Settings to your own
username---the folder you want will normally be in your username folder.
