If Ben Moore's suggestion doesn't work: I believe I was given a different
registry fix on this list within the past 6 months, when I (well, my
computer) developed similar symptoms.  Of course, I don't have the e-mail
anymore, but you might check the PCSOFT archives, if no one comes up with it
again.  I had also lost the "New" and "Send to" capabilities in some
right-click menus, and may have had those terms in the Subject heading.

left with a new shortcut.  None of the intervening steps of
browsing for the command line or naming the shortcut come up.
