I've read this before but didn't have and didn't think I'd have the same problem.
One of my CD RW programs stopped making audio CDs. After doing all I could think of for almost 2
weeks, I finally e-mailed the company and explained the errors I was getting. The technician
responded that IE 6.0 interferes with the program. (I hadn't even told him I had even upgraded to
6.0 though I don't usually use IE anyway -- Netscape kind of guy.) He said I would need to
uninstall 6.0 and go back to an earlier version of IE. I did so and my CD RW program ran fine.
But now, I get this login for name and password on every boot up. I cancel and all is well. I have
deleted the two *.pwl files in C:\windows but it hasn't changed a thing. So, help! Where is the
key that shuts this password request off on each boot. (I've tried to get to the No Spin URL but it
will not load -- maybe down.)
TIA,
Ken
