  The "ipconfig" command works in, I believe, every version except Win 95.
It can take some command-line options; for instance, "ipconfig /all"
provides additional detail.

  I'm not aware that any OS in the NT/2K/XP lineage has the kind of maximums
that 9x versions have been reported to have.  The more the merrier.
