Check your Netscape Navigator Options.  It sounds like someone changed the
storage location for temporary files to your desktop instead of some other
temporary location. I believe that *.moz files are "mozilla" files from
Netscape.

Since yesterday, files ending in .moz have suddenly started
appearing on my desktop.  Neither text readers nor browsers can
read them.  One name, for example, is MOqrgv30.moz .  What
are they? Help!
