Zone Alarm has nothing to do with it - the message will appear in the free version or pro version. Orf said it
better than I can, but essentially it's just another program asking for access. However, it's been my experience
that it's always initiated by some program that I'm trying to use - specifically, NetMeeting, WMP, or anything that
interacts with the outside world. In other words, it doesn't just happen randomly. But, like you, I don't know the
details, so I've always allowed access. So far there have been no ill effects. And like Don said; "Sorry if this
response comes within the "duh" category."
