Dear Listers,

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this annoying little problem. After
my comp has been left idle for a few hours (450Mhz, 256ram, Win98) I get
about 2 or 3 empty boxes in the bottom task bar. I click on them and they
disappear. I imagine its something left over from some process the computer
decided it needed to run. How can I stop those boxes from appearing? After
a couple days, there could be as many as 14 of them. I do have scandisk,
defrag set up to run automatically every couple of days. I also have Seti
running as the screensaver.

TIA
Kevin Nowicki
