Hi all,
I've subscribed with an ADSL Internet Service Provider and I've got a
problem with the cache in Internet Explorer 5 (5.00.2919.6307 more
precisely). When I use Netscape (which "comes" with a subscription with
this provider), I've got no problem reloading a page by clicking on the
Reload button, but when I use IE5, even if I click on Refresh, F5 or even
CTRL-F5, 95% of the time, the page won't load (the 5% is for when I just
connected with the provider OR reloaded the page with Netscape and THEN
loaded IE5).
Another ISP (dial-up) told me it was because of a "cache" problem in IE5
and/or with the ADSL provider, but I'd like to know if there could be a way
to change this situation.
I've even checked the option "HTTP 1.1 with Proxy Connection" to see if it
would change something, but it didn't. Can anybody help me out on this one?
(And YES, IE5 is set up to reload a page EVERY visit! Please do NOT tell me
about this one!)
Thank you,
Stéphane Vaillancourt
