The address shown in your letter is a local address on your own hard drive,
not a web address. Exactly how are you trying to get Google? If you are
using a bookmark, looks as if your bookmarks are corrupted. Check their
properties.
What address shows in the browser address line when you simply type in
"google" (no quotes) and hit Ctrl + Enter at the same time? On IE 5.0 and
later this should auto-complete the proper address and take you straight to
Google.
