Hello Carrol,

In response to Alan's query about EnditAll, you wrote >>> when the scan is completed, do a reboot, and enjoy your
well-organized disk <<<

I would like to know if it is mandatory to reboot after completing a Defrag procedure ? Am I correct in assuming that you are implying a normal reboot (Start menu-Shutdown-Restart ) ?

TIA
Shaleen Kumar

Alan:

I think you're missing the point: The whole idea of enditall is to
insure that _nothing_ is written to the partition being defragmented;
therefore, it is essential to shut down any other program that may
access the drive. That's why many people recommend going to safe mode,
as that avoids loading programs that might interrupt the procedure. ...................
 Then, when the scan is completed, do a reboot, and enjoy your
well-organized disk. ......................
