Greetings:
I have two computers. One came with 95 and the other with 98. I
actually like 95 better but alas there seems to be reasons why I should
use one or the other and maybe accept the few perks which 98 provides.
Anyway,
I don't want to reload 3 GB of programs and date--don't know even if I
could find all of them anyway. I have read on several occasions here
that one can update 95 with 98 by deleting a single file which keeps you

from updating without an "update version" CD or disk. I didn't think
I'd need
to know that information and hence.... Does anyone remember the file to

be deleted so 98 will install over(?) 95 without changing the hardware
settings, etc.?

TIA,
Ken
