Since you don't have any HTML background you should use WYSIWYG. The best is
Macromedia Dreamweaver but it's not freeware. You can also use simple
editors that come with IE and NS and are free. It's funny that owner worries
about what product will you use to maintain the site since only the end
result will be visible to him/her.
