I have lost the LIST of folder options normally seen in the left pane of the windows explorer. All I see is a gray area with no information.  If I go to view, explorer bar the folder option is checked. If I click on other options such as favorites, history, media etc. they will appear in the left pane.  But again the list of folders options is lost.  The right pane of the explorer is normal. In addition, if I chose the drop down bar while in the windows explorer I can view thelist that I have been trying to move and observe in the left pane. I would appreciate anyone who can help resolve this problem.
