I tried and then bought DownloadMage. http://www.dlmage.com
Only about $25 if you decide to keep it. It does a good job of organizing
the downloads in addition to resuming interrupted ones. I previously tried
Gozilla and RealDownload and did not like them at all.

I'm asking the group for their recommendations on Download Software
products similar to Go!Zilla, SmartDownload, etc. that has
pause/resume capability, but ... doesn't have all the hidden spyware,
etc.  Best option, of course, is freeware or shareware type software,
