Hi,
  Windows ME, by default, opens windows explorer at "my documents". If you
look further down the list, you will see "my computer", your drives are in
that folder.
  If you want to have it open to the C: drive instead, right click on the
windows explorer icon, and choose "properties".Then copy and paste the
following line into the "target" box:

C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e,C:\

  Click apply, and then OK, and you should be all set.
