What makes a game freeze?...specifically, Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit....it does have a ton of graphics continually running.....present settings I have are: Virtual memory at 256 min. and max.   Vcache min and max at 32768  No "chunk" values entered   PageValueSize = 262174
     I have set the virtual memory, the other settings I assume were set by Windows
     The computer is Windows98SE, 128 RAM, 15GB hard drive,  750 AMD Duron processor
     Entire system is 2 months old    Running Norton 2001 in the background
     No other problems...another game called DXBall, heavy graphics and colors etc. etc has frozen in the past, previous system and machinery
