As far as I know, W98 updates are still available from MS, though probably not for much longer.

There are many possible reasons why you can't get onto their site or get updates - a Google search should find a lot of references. One little-known reason for failure is a mis-dated computer clock.

However, go here and check out the links

I've just tried several and they appear to take you to update sources.

  Subject: [PCSOFT] Windows 98 Update

I am trying to access the Windows 98 access site by using Windows Update
  from the Start menu

I get a 'page not available' error.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is this a manifestation of Msoft's
policy of no longer supporting W98 and W98SE?
