Thank You to Selina and Hugh for answering.
The problem was that I tried that and it did not work.
As I had said the tool bars I wanted were all checked.
But the update is that after awhile a window came up asking if I wanted my wanted my tool bar back and I said ok and sure enough...there they were just as they had been.
Still do not know why if happened or how to correct it and hope it does not happen again.
