Does it matter? I've never in my life used Windows Support, running Win
95B. No patches, no upgrades, the system works exceptionally well. A few
simple utilities gives it better-than-Win98 functionality.
I think it's when you start monkeying around patching a good system that
you start running into troubles.
Perhaps security patches are important for those on cable connections, but
I'd have thought that those would all have been well fixed by now for Win98.
I'm not against upgrading when the time is right, or for those who want to
live adventurously.
But if your current system does everything you require, and works well, I'd
stick to it as long as it's feasible to do so.
Have I been missing out on anything of importance over all these years?
