Hi Alice,
go to TOOLS - OPTIONS - Security tab and uncheck the line that says something
like "saving or opening of attachments that may contain virus not allowed". You
may even alter the setting after you received an attachment you want/need to
open
or save, you just have to close and re-open OE to have the change work.
