I use Norton's products for my system. It's scandisk and defragment are
vastly superior to standard MS systems. It does eat resources, so have
plenty of RAM. Very good interface. The "Add Blocking" function is
wonderful!

DO NOT USE CRASHGUARD WITH WIN98! 98 has it's own utility, and it battles
endlessly with Norton's. Install it, to have all functions available, then
disable it, which is easy.

I would like to get a general consensus of opinion on the use of Norton's
Utilities. I have the Anti\Virus 2000 and satisfied with that, have used
Utilities for win 95 and now have the version 4 for Win98. I know not to use
the crash guard feature. Is the Utilities on Win98 as good as Norton's and
is Norton's too much of system resource hog ?
