Hi Tom,
What I don't like about their site ,is the fact that the prominently
displayed Download button,
is for the shareware version.
The free version is at the bottom under Products in a very small font.
It's almost like they want to hide it.
Of course it's their right to do so ,but I've come across dozens of people
who are misled by the big Download button.
As for myself, most times I have trouble distinguishing dark blue letters on
a black background, because of a mild degree of color blindness.
I'm sure that I'm not the only one, because I've had this confirmed by
several people.
All I'm saying is, beware what you download.

www.malwarebytes.org is the correct site. It opens with a full colored
page with a figure of a lock and an offer to purchase malwarebytes.
There are other things on the page, but much less prominent. I do not
know why you ran into problems. Are you still prevented from using IE ?
