HI: I am running W98SE. All of a sudden my quick launch task bar with all the icons is gone! I cannot drop any shortcuts on the bar. If I right click on it, the items are all grayed out. At the same time, my desktop icons do not retain their font size each time I boot. I go to properties, reset them. I have TweakUI and the tab to eliminate arrows on the shortcut does not work. I have uninstalled and re-installed tweakui to no avail.
Sorry to be so wordy, but any help is appreciated.
