Kevin,
You will need a DOS boot disk with no autoexec.bat or config.sys files.
These are not required and you do not want to load himem.sys or any memory
programs.
During the boot disk boot-up, enter your BIOS setup and disable the internal
and external caches. Then reboot using the disk to the a: prompt.
From there, simply run the Award flash program and follow the steps. You
will need to know the name of the BIOS update you what to flash (*.bin
format).
