Harvey,
A piece of software designed to save/backup those settings is
a much more elegant solution.
I wasn't aware of such items. That is a much safer way to
backup the data than tromping around in the registry.
Secondly, I mis-spoke when I said the registry files
are automatically backed up. They can be backed up
but it is a manual process.
