Looking for a second opinion.
My brother has Office95 and Office97/Standard on the
same computer. He got (at auction) a cheap copy of
Office97PRO. I told him to find and copy all his
letters, etc from both Suites to a zip drive. (Just
for good luck.) Then do a maintenance setup of both
old programs and select un install all components.
He has no templates or anything fancy. He would
have installed wherever the stuff went by itself.
Then let the "PRO" version install where it wants...
Does this seem like a good plan, or have I forgotten
something? (Where there any small "free" programs
he will loose and miss from the older Suites?)
He uses the following for mail...
 X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.07 [en]C-NECCK (Win95; U)
