Thanks for the advise, but the problem wasn't with my macros or setup. The
problem was a known issue with Adobe Acrobat 7 PRO. When it loads it's
tools in Word, it also prevents the Word user, from saving changes to
normal.dot upon exit. This is what was preventing me from making changes,
or adding macros. Once I performed a registry hack to prevent Acrobat from
starting with Word, my problems disappeared.
