I know this was on the list not too long ago because this is where I learned
how to do this -- but have since forgotten -- please refresh my memory!!

I need to save a folder of Outlook messages and keep it on my desktop. I've
done this before -- but now I can only get the messages to save as a .txt
file instead of an Outlook item.

I'm sure I'm overlooking something very basic.
