First, try defragging in Safe Mode. That may solve the problem, if this
error only occurs at defrag and no other time. It's always the best way to
defrag anyway.
I'm not familiar with the precise error message, but generically, the
"missing export" message usually means that something is finding the wrong
version of a file. In this case you must have Kernel32 or I doubt that
Windows would function, but it is the wrong version for the particular
program. You will need to identify the program which is calling for this
system file, and remove it, or locate and replace the correct version
(sometimes difficult). That may in turn create problems for other programs.
Search for the .exe file and you may get some clues from its location. Or
run a Google search for it from which you'll probably get more
info. Perhaps it is a remnant from something you've uninstalled.
