There may (or may not) be some configuring you need to do in your e-mail's views, however; if your e-mail folders display like mine do (I use Outlook and Outlook Express), there is a column header above the sender, subject, received, and size, among other possible options. If your view is like this, try left-clicking on the column header labeled "Received". This will sort the e-mails by date and time.
