Just another thought. Have you tried replacing the normal.dot template? If
not, then rename the normal.dot (in your templates folder) to something like
normal.bad and then restart Word. See if that fixes it. If it does, then the
template must have been corrupted. If it does not fix the problem, then
rename the normal.bad back to normal.dot (after deleting the new normal.dot
that was created by Word.
