[BH: If I'm having a repeat problem with a fresh install, I usually try
to find the program or item that's the culprit and remove it, if
possible. If it's an essential item or program for which I don't have
fix, I may not do the install, as it's not worth trying to load programs
or hardware on a system that's being temperamental at an early stage. It
only makes things worse as they go along.]
If after doing a fresh install I am getting BSOD ( Blue Screen of Death ) or freezes or hang-ups. I will remove programs until I find the problem. It usually takes something to happen about three times in a row for me to start. Please note that if it something related to the OS and it did not copy properly I may have to start over. If it is an issue that is hardware related I will try another piece of hardware and driver. If it is hard drive or motherboard or you don't have spare parts I have learned no matter how many times you try and load something software will not fix bad hardware. Thus I won't do the install. Boy I thought I had edited mine down .:-)
