Apple has fixed a problem with its QuickTime plug-in for Internet Explorer
(IE) 5.5 Service Pack 2 (SP2) and the IE 6 beta.  The problem arose after
Microsoft dropped support for Netscape-style plug-ins in IE.

With today's release of the QuickTime fix, however, IE 5.5 SP2 and IE 6
users will once again be able to view QuickTime content embedded in Web
pages, and the standalone player continues to work properly.

To download the ActiveX QuickTime plug-in, visit Apple's website @
