To all interested.
I don't have QT installed on my machine as it seems to farkle things up. I
don't have any problems running MOV files with Media Player. Well, except if
it is from a site that doesn't load well. I use a DSL line, and some files
load in a flash, and others never. But that is true with both .avi's and
Real Player as well. Yes, I do have to have both Real and Media Players.

Lynn,
Here's a quick update to my message of 10 minutes ago......
Curiosity led me to actually try using Media Player to view a MOV file.
I just tried playing three different QT MOVie files with the newest MS Media
Player.
Two files completely failed to load and the third file played the audio
track only.
All three movies played just fine with my QT Player.
Bottom line..... keep all three movie players.
