Thanks for the comments, Peter.  I tried each browser separately, and 
loaded the flash for each.  I would uninstall the "standard" player 
(activex) in Programs and Features so I didn't get anymore confused than 
I was at the time.  I have some time to investigate further coming up so 
I think I'll download the IE9 from MS and install from there just in 
case something got corrupted the other 2 times. Don't know if I can do 
that since before it just downloads a small "downloader".  Thanks again,
