Question: Anyone use an ls-120 for backing
up QuickBooks?
Details: I just backed up QuickBooks v6Pro(US) patched to R4.
This is more than likely the first time I used the
ls-120 with QuickBooks because I was still using
v5 on my other computer till just before TAXs.
I put the backup (twice, with different names)
on an Internal ls-120 with BIOS support in Win95B.
It is given Drive Letter "B" there, and works as 1.4m and 120m.
This combination has been used and works fine for
anything I have used it for in the past. (Less than a year.)
After these back-ups, the ls-120 disk was trashed.
A large file structure problem... (Details off list.)
Has anyone had a similar problem with ls-120 and QuickBooks?
I have six blank disks, and am going to try to repeat this.
Please let me know (off list if necessary) if you have even
the slightest suspicions. The disk I lost has some files
I REALLY might miss if "this " disk was the back-up from
the hard drive... Sorry if this sounds over-blown,
but I have not, and am not used to loosing data...
