The reason it chose to quit working might be in the Subject, i.e.
Win95. It will do this sometimes for no apparent reason. Mostly the reg
files get corrupted and the only way to fix it is from a clean boot. I
have seen this happen in 2 weeks and then again after a year or two. So
unless you have a back up copy of your reg files. ( I do mine
daily/weekly and save them for a month on the puter and have a copy of
for each month for the last year.) from when it did work properly, you
only choices may be a clean install and/or buy a different type of SC.
Hope you get it solve otherwise but at this point I don't think you
will base on what you have tried. Just remember, don't shoot the
messenger <G>.
My experience with Win95 is that after about a year or so, sooner
depending on what all you do with it, e.g. install junk software,
install/uninstall frequently, install demos, lockups due to low quality
components, etc., Win95 goes unstable or quirky. Then the only fix is a
clean install.

: Re: [PCSOFT] Windows 95 won't startup ?
I have not reformatted my hard drive and really don't want to at this
time. It was working fine for about year so why it chose to quit
working
is beyond me.
